CompetitiveVideoGames.com is a site that hosts tournaments for competitive video games such as Halo 3 and Gears of War 2.

How Does this site work?
This site is unlike many tournament sites such as Gamebattles or GamingSaloon, in that all our tournaments are completed in one night.This system is the most efficient in that it avoids cheating and the results are posted almost instantly on here. Want to know more? Check out the rules section.

Halo 3 Tournaments

Halo 3 Tournaments are our bread and butter. It is MLG's flagship game so a lot of people play. The competition for our Halo 3 tournaments is very competitive, with several good teams playing in every tournament. Most Halo 3 tournaments are done in a "bracket syle format", and each tournament varies from single or double elimination. Our Halo 3 tournaments are different because each tournament will have a "ref" that sets up and explains the game. The ref keeps the tournament organized, fun, and sorts out any cheating issues. Gears of War 2 Tournaments

Gears of War 2 Tournaments are less common on CVG than Halo 3 tournaments.Gears of War 2 is a fun game, and tournaments are possible, but will only take place if people call for one. For more information on Gears of War 2 Tournaments, join the forums.
